(27 ago. 1908, Cootamundra, Nueva Gales del Sur, Australia–25 feb. 2001, Adelaida).

Jugador de críquet australiano. Uno de los grandes anotadores en la historia de este deporte. En partidos internacionales (test matches), Bradman anotó 6.996 carreras para Australia, e impuso un récord con su promedio de 99,94 carreras por partido. En 1948 fue el capitán australiano del equipo que ganó en Inglaterra por cuatro juegos a cero. Se retiró del críquet de primer nivel en 1949 y ese mismo año fue nombrado caballero. Bradman es considerado el mejor jugador de críquet del s. XX.
